[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 27th that it conducted 'Demand-Centered On-Site Customized Contract Training' for 82 contract officers from education support offices and affiliated institutions.
The training was held separately in the eastern and western regions at the Jeonnam Early Childhood Education Promotion Institute and the Jeonnam Office of Education Sports Education Center, focusing on necessary topics such as procedures for facility construction, goods, and service contracts, mutual market entry of facility construction industries, and the majorization of specialized construction industries.
The Office of Education explained that the training was promoted to support frontline sites experiencing difficulties in contract work due to frequent changes in officers caused by avoidance phenomena from increased contract workloads at education support offices, mutual market entry of construction industries, and frequent regulation changes.
Going forward, to operate demand-centered customized contracts, they plan to provide level-based training by dividing contract officers of education support offices and schools, focusing on case-based education rather than theoretical training.
Additionally, they will operate customized training according to regular personnel changes and academic schedules, as well as demand-centered visiting education, and reflect field opinions through surveys after training.
In particular, they plan to form a contract work support TF (about 17 members) composed of experienced general administrative officials from the main office, education support offices, and schools to provide consulting through on-site visits or online non-face-to-face video conferences.
Along with this, they will open a 'Contract Q&A Room' on the internet homepage to provide contract-related inquiries and answers, send out 'Dingdong! Contract Information' quarterly to guide necessary regulations and precautions for contracts, and develop and distribute various contract education contents such as practical contract video materials that anyone can easily understand.
Kim Chun-ho, Director of the Administration Bureau, said, "Due to the nature of contract work, there are many and complex related regulations, requiring professionalism in handling tasks," and added, "We will operate various programs such as developing remote education content to enhance the professionalism of contract officers and resolve difficulties."
