According to the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency, at around 6:38 PM on the 15th, a man in his 60s, Mr. A, stabbed and killed Mr. B, a competitor's employee, while intoxicated.
Mr. A, who operated a chicken processing company, committed the crime because he believed that his accounting staff had moved to Mr. B's company, with whom he was acquainted, along with client information.
On the day of the crime, Mr. A contacted Mr. B to arrange an evening meeting and premeditatedly reserved a specific seat at the crime location before committing the act.
After fleeing immediately following the crime, Mr. A surrendered himself to the Sasang Police Station in Busan about an hour later, but shortly afterward, he sent threatening messages to another industry worker, stating that he had killed Mr. B and saying, "I hope you are not next."
A police official stated, "We confirmed that Mr. A sent threatening messages, and due to the seriousness of the matter, he was sent to prosecution in custody."
