Selection and Support of 54 Startups from 1st to 5th Cohorts Since 2017
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] KB Kookmin Card announced on the 27th that it has published a white paper summarizing the achievements of the open innovation program 'FUTURE9,' which has been ongoing since 2017. This white paper includes major collaboration cases and planned initiatives between 54 startups selected through FUTURE9 programs from the 1st to the 5th cohorts and KB Kookmin Card.
After selecting startups for each cohort, KB Kookmin Card supports their growth by promoting joint commercialization, collaborating on new product and technology development, cooperating on KB Pay, Liiv Mate, recurring payments, Kukka Mall, utilizing payment data for marketing, investing through the FUTURE9 dedicated fund, and linking investments with affiliates and consortium companies.
For example, KB Kookmin Card built the free travel platform 'TTBB' with Tripbitos in the new platform and new business sectors, and implemented card screening automation using OCR solutions with Romin in the technology internalization sector. Additionally, it conducted joint marketing for electric vehicle charging card issuance with Softberry, built a cross-industry data analysis platform with ab180, and collaborated on KB Liiv On API integration with DataKnows.
