Applications Accepted at Administrative Welfare Centers from January 28 to February 28
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] Sangju City, Gyeongbuk Province, will accept applications for the Farmer and Fisherman Allowance at the administrative welfare centers of the jurisdictional eup, myeon, and dong from January 28 to February 28 for one month.
Applicants must be registered farm and fishery business operators who have resided in Gyeongbuk Province for more than one year as of December 31, 2020, and are actual farmers or fishermen engaged in agriculture or fishery.
However, those with comprehensive income from non-agricultural and fishery sources exceeding 37 million KRW, those who fraudulently received subsidies such as direct payments last year, public officials and employees of public institutions, spouses of business owners eligible for the Farmer and Fisherman Allowance, and those who live together but have separated households are excluded from eligibility.
The Farmer and Fisherman Allowance recipients will be finalized after qualification screening in March, and the allowance of 600,000 KRW will be paid in Sangju currency in two installments of 300,000 KRW each in April and August.
