On the same day, regarding the preemptive strike theory against North Korea, Candidate Yoon stated, "It does not mean an immediate (attack), but rather declaring the capability to deliver a fatal blow to missile launch bases and the command headquarters that ordered the provocation when an aggressive provocative act is certain." He also said, "Declaring such a capability is, I believe, a very important attitude for peace and security on the Korean Peninsula."
