Chief Park said, "Yesterday's NSC working-level coordination meeting was held under the chairmanship of National Security Office Director Suh Hoon to assess the urgency and seriousness of the situation and to review safety measures for our citizens," adding, "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Intelligence Service have been closely evaluating the Ukraine situation for over a month and have been preparing safety measures for our citizens in anticipation of a possible military conflict."

Chief Park added, "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of National Defense, and the National Intelligence Service are conducting in-depth consultations with the United States on this issue."
