[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association announced on the 24th that it is recruiting women-owned businesses to participate in the '2022 W-Digital Market Expansion Support Project.'
The 2022 W-Digital Market Expansion Support Project is a domestic market expansion support initiative that helps women-owned businesses enter various distribution channels such as home shopping, e-commerce, and SNS, enabling successful entry into the domestic market.
Applications for the project will be accepted through the website until the 31st, and any women-owned business producing products sold to general consumers is eligible to apply.
This project targets 500 women-owned businesses and is divided into three categories: △ Marketing & Branding △ TV Home Shopping & Digital Market Expansion △ Advertising Planning, which will be conducted through live and video education.
Additionally, support will be provided to a total of 45 companies across three market channels: △ Public Home Shopping Entry Support △ Online Mall Special Exhibition Support △ SNS Advertising Video Production Support, with 30 companies finally selected through media promotion.
The newly established media promotion this year aims to enhance the value and sales of women-owned businesses by promoting their products and brands through advertising media.
Moreover, the online mall special exhibition support for women-owned businesses will open exclusive exhibitions of women-owned business products and offer various promotional benefits to customers, aiming to increase online recognition of women-owned businesses and provide high-quality products to customers.
Lee Jeong-han, president of the Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association, said, "Despite having excellent products from women-owned businesses, many face difficulties in marketing and market expansion," adding, "The W-Digital Market Expansion Support Project will contribute to the leap and growth of women entrepreneurs."
