Dongbu Construction Holds ESG Management Declaration Ceremony on Its 53rd Anniversary

On the 24th, Dongbu Construction announced that it held an ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management declaration ceremony in celebration of its 53rd anniversary.

At the ESG management declaration ceremony held that day, Dongbu Construction Vice Chairman Heo Sang-hee said, "With the vision of 'Sustainable Green Construction for Passing on a Beautiful Global Village, Dongbu Construction Green Construction 2030,' let us actively participate in ESG management for sustainable growth."

In the Environmental (E) sector, under green management leading environmental protection practices, key strategic goals such as responding to climate change and smart growth were selected.

In the Social (S) sector, to practice sharing management that communicates with and dedicates to society, strategic goals such as contributing to local communities and considering social human rights were selected.

In the Governance (G) sector, as part of strengthening ethical management through transparent and clean management, the company emphasized leading transparent corporate operations and protecting shareholder rights.

A Dongbu Construction official stated, "ESG management is now an indispensable value in corporate management," adding, "With the slogan 'Use the environment sparingly, communicate with society, and manage transparently,' we will do our best for sustainable management."
