Twosome Place to Raise Prices on 21 Beverage Items by Up to 400 Won Starting the 27th

[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Twosome Place will raise the prices of some beverages starting on the 27th. This is the first price increase in 9 years and 5 months since August 2012.

Twosome Place will focus on adjusting prices mainly for items directly related to raw materials such as coffee beans and milk to minimize customer burden. The prices of Americano and Caffe Latte will each increase by 400 KRW, Caramel Macchiato by 300 KRW, Frapp? by 200 KRW, Shake by 100 KRW, and among a total of 54 types of coffee and beverages, prices of 21 items will be raised.

Regarding this price increase, Twosome Place explained, "External factors such as the recent sharp rise in coffee bean prices, milk price increases, and logistics cost hikes have rapidly changed, and franchise stores are also facing difficulties due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, labor costs, and rent increases, making this an unavoidable measure."

A Twosome Place representative said, "We have made various efforts to avoid price increases over the past 10 years, but recently the cost pressures from coffee beans, milk, and others have exceeded a bearable level, so we reluctantly decided to raise prices," adding, "We plan to strengthen customer service through membership benefits and campaigns to expand the use of personal cups, and we will continue to do our best to provide satisfaction with the best products and services."
