- Largest-scale title apartment leads local market prices... Strong performance in the sales market
- Cheongju Seowon-gu's largest complex 'Hanwha Forena Cheongju Maebong'... Also features Cheongju's largest park
Apartments boasting the largest-scale titles are gaining expectations from buyers as new landmark apartments in their regions, achieving strong results in the sales market.
These apartments, holding such titles, go beyond simply being large in size; they take on the role of leading apartments in the area, pioneering residential culture. The larger the scale, the more diverse community facilities are provided, along with abundant green spaces and landscaping, creating excellent living conditions. Additionally, after the complex is established, transportation networks, various commercial, cultural, and convenience facilities are further developed around it. Not only do these apartments perform well in subscription results, but they also lead market prices as the premier apartments in their regions.
Meanwhile, Hanwha Construction, which newly launched the Forena brand in 2019, is preparing to launch the largest-scale apartment in Seowon-gu, Cheongju, Chungbuk in January: ‘Hanwha Forena Cheongju Maebong’.
This apartment complex is a large-scale development located in the Mochung-dong area of Cheongju, Chungbuk, consisting of 21 buildings from 2 basement floors to 29 above-ground floors, with a total of 1,849 units ranging from 74 to 104㎡ in exclusive area. As Hanwha Construction’s first Forena brand project in Cheongju, it will feature specialized designs and systems.
First, all units are designed with a south-facing orientation and a 4Bay slab-type layout, providing excellent lighting and ventilation, as well as a great sense of openness. Ample storage spaces are provided throughout the homes to enhance space utilization, and smart systems for residents will also be introduced.
Beyond the scale of the complex, it is adjacent to the largest park in Cheongju, offering a pleasant residential environment. Maebong Park, which embraces the complex, covers an area of 295,764㎡, approximately 1.3 times the size of Yeouido Park, and once completed, it is expected to become the largest urban park in Cheongju. Notably, Maebong Park is a ‘mountainous park’ that preserves the existing terrain as much as possible, expected to be popular among nearby residents who enjoy hiking and walking. The park site will also include gardens, rest areas, and multiple forest fitness facilities.
Residents can also enjoy the well-established transportation conditions of Cheongju’s original downtown area. By car, they can access various parts of Cheongju via Mochung-ro and Cheongnam-ro, and it is easy to enter major expressways such as the Gyeongbu Expressway and Jungbu Expressway. There is also a bus stop nearby serving 13 routes. Proximity to industrial complexes such as the Cheongju General Industrial Complex, home to SK Hynix and LG Electronics, and the Ochang Technopolis, where a multipurpose synchrotron accelerator is planned, is expected to provide benefits of close proximity to workplaces.
The educational environment is also favorable. Nearby schools such as Mochung Elementary, Unho Middle and High Schools, and Chungbuk Girls’ Middle and High Schools are within walking distance, and the academy district near Seowon Library and Namseong Middle School is conveniently accessible. Chungbuk National University, Seowon University, and Cheongju National University of Education are also nearby.
Forena Cheongju Maebong also benefits from access to convenience facilities in Cheongju’s representative original downtown areas such as Nammun-ro and Bukmun-ro. Within a 3km radius, residents can easily enjoy Homeplus, Yukgeori Market, as well as cultural facilities like CGV, Cheongju Sports Complex, and Cheongju Arts Center. Hospital facilities and administrative offices such as Chungbuk National University Hospital, the courthouse, Chungcheongbuk-do Provincial Office, and Mochung-dong Administrative Welfare Center are also adjacent.
The Forena Cheongju Maebong model house is scheduled to open in January.
