[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Nexen Tire announced on the 24th that it will supply tires for the 7th generation facelift model of Volkswagen's 'Jetta', a German automaker.
The Jetta is Volkswagen's best-selling sedan, first released in 1979. The 7th generation facelift model features new technologies such as a spacious interior, Volkswagen's latest infotainment system 'MIB3', and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
The Nexen Tire 'N'Fera AU7' fitted on the Jetta facelift model is a premium tire developed for luxury sedans. Nexen Tire explained that it provides optimal driving performance by meeting braking and wet grip standards under various climate conditions and road situations.
In particular, noise and vibration, which are highly sensitive to consumers, have been significantly improved compared to previous products.
The N'Fera AU7 has won awards at the world's top three design awards: Germany's 'iF Design Award' and 'Red Dot Design Award', and the United States' 'IDEA Design Award'.
Meanwhile, Nexen Tire continues to supply original equipment tires for Volkswagen vehicles including the Jetta, Golf 8th generation, Passat, Polo, and T-Roc.
