[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Hanjin Co., Ltd. announced on the 24th that it has signed a business agreement with Shopick Co., Ltd. to support the overseas expansion of K-Fashion.
Through this agreement, Hanjin will provide global shipping and fulfillment (integrated logistics management) services between domestic and international designer brands and influencers using Shopick's services.
In addition, they plan to establish a joint K-Fashion brand hall called ‘K-Fashion Sup’ and launch a dedicated platform in 2023. Starting with entry into major online and offline channels in the United States, they will gradually expand to global regions and services.
Earlier, in July last year, Hanjin established a K-Fashion overseas expansion support solution team to support logistics, marketing, and digital services for promising domestic designers and brand companies wishing to expand overseas.
Shopick, which operates an influencer fashion platform, connects domestic designer brands using the platform built by Hanjin with overseas influencers to support marketing and overseas sales channels and attract new influencers.
The signing ceremony held at the Hanjin Building in Jung-gu, Seoul, was attended by key officials including Samseok Noh, CEO and President of Hanjin, Hyunmin Cho, President of Future Growth Strategy and Marketing, and Youngseok Byun, CEO of Shopick.
A Hanjin official stated, “Based on our company's global logistics know-how, we plan to create a new business model supporting the global expansion of the rapidly emerging K-Fashion and strengthen cooperation with more domestic and international companies.”
