At this board meeting, agenda items such as the appointment and dismissal of executives, the 2021 financial audit, the 2022 budget and business plan, and partial amendments to the Gumi Scholarship Foundation's articles of association were reviewed and approved.
They also discussed improvement plans for the operation and development of the Gumi Scholarship Foundation, including issues with the current scholarship recipients and the Seoul Gumi Dormitory selection system.
To promote local pride and expand scholarship beneficiaries, a special scholarship will be awarded to 10 students of the Korea National Open University Gumi Learning Center.
Chairman Jang Se-yong stated, "We will strive to become a scholarship foundation that meets the expectations of citizens to nurture local talents who will lead Gumi."
