[Asia Economy Reporter Ji-hwan Park] Samsung Securities announced on the 20th that it will hold the 'Korea Startup Scale-up Day,' which has been ongoing since August last year for customers seeking opportunities to invest in future unicorn companies, online from 10 a.m. on the 21st.
This event will provide a separate link only to investors who have pre-registered. The event is free of charge and targeted at startup investors.
This KSS IR Day will feature presentations (IR) from 11 startups (unlisted companies) that won the Innovation Award at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the first in the industry. Senior Researcher Eun-young Lim, who is in charge of the automotive sector at Samsung Securities Research Center, and Professor Koo-min Jung from the Department of Electronic Engineering at Kookmin University will also review CES 2022.
Participating companies include 'Infinic,' which won the CES Innovation Award for automotive autonomous driving solutions for two consecutive years; 'Petnow,' the only domestic startup to receive the highest innovation award; and 'Eva,' which won innovation awards in two categories in the world’s first electric vehicle (EV) charger sector.
Hansang-hoon Han, Head of Sales Solutions at Samsung Securities, said, "Innovation starts with technology and ideas, but for growth, attracting investment funds from quality customers, asset management, and networking are important." He added, "KSS IR Day promises to provide seamless networking between investors and startups, offering a stepping stone for growth into innovative companies."
