A representative from Gyeongnam Information College and the winners of the 'KIT C.L.C UCC Contest' are taking a group commemorative photo.
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Gyeongnam Information University held an awards ceremony for the ‘KIT C.L.C (College Local Collaboration) UCC Contest’ on the 20th in the university's main conference room.
The contest has been implemented since last year by Gyeongnam Information University to propose ideas for the improvement and development of the local community.
The 2nd UCC contest was held under the theme ‘Sasang Full of Excitement, Every Alley in Our Neighborhood,’ featuring works set in Sasang-gu, where the main campus of Gyeongnam Information University is located.
A total of five winning teams received the Gyeongnam Information University President’s Award, the Sasang-gu Office Chief’s Award, and a cash prize.
Im Jun-woo, head of the Gyeongnam Information University project team, said, “It was a meaningful time to share college students’ creative and fresh ideas with the local community,” and added, “We will expand various programs that the university can carry out together with the local community.”
The event was organized by Gyeongnam Information University and hosted by the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea as part of the 2021 Specialized College Innovation Support Project.
