[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Samsung SDS is stepping up to support small and medium-sized export companies.
On the 20th, Samsung SDS announced that it will support part of the guarantee fee that small and medium-sized export company customers using the digital logistics service 'Cello Square' must pay when taking out loans from IBK Industrial Bank. Cello Square is a digital logistics service provided to support overseas logistics for small and medium-sized export companies, allowing customers to easily handle the entire logistics process including estimates, contracts, transportation, tracking, and settlement by themselves.
On the same day, Samsung SDS signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund, the Korea Technology Finance Corporation, and IBK Industrial Bank. It plans to support 1% of the guarantee amount, up to a maximum of 3 million KRW, for customers using the Cello Square service. The Korea Credit Guarantee Fund and the Korea Technology Finance Corporation will partially reduce the guarantee fee rate for eligible companies, and IBK Industrial Bank will additionally reduce the interest rate by 1 percentage point for small and medium-sized export companies that have received a guarantee certificate.
Recently, Samsung SDS has been conducting various marketing activities, including promotions to support Amazon sellers so that domestic small and medium-sized export companies can use digital logistics services through Cello Square, and collaborating with financial institutions to provide financial benefits.
