Bithumb Conducts Blockchain Education Program 'Bithumb Tech Camp'

[Asia Economy Reporter Gong Byung-sun] Bithumb, a domestic cryptocurrency exchange, announced on the 20th that it will conduct a blockchain education program called ‘Bithumb Tech Camp’ in collaboration with a domestic software specialized education institution.

This training, aimed at junior developers with less than four years of development experience, was prepared as part of providing quality IT education and jobs to the MZ (Millennial·Z) generation. Unlike the ‘Bithumb Tech Academy’ held in July last year, this program offers practical training focused on experienced professionals.

The training courses are managed by Code States and Yagom Academy, domestic software specialized education institutions. Code States will provide education on essential technical elements required for blockchain developers. Yagom Academy will offer advanced technical training necessary for junior Apple operating system (iOS) developers.

The blockchain development course will be held from February 7 to 28, and the iOS course from February 14 to March 11. To allow experienced applicants to participate, the program will be offered online during weekday evenings.

Any developer with blockchain or iOS development experience between one and four years can participate in this training. Approximately 30 participants will be selected for each course, with a total of about 50 participants expected. Among the program graduates, those who achieve excellent results will have the opportunity to join Bithumb as full-time developers through a separate recruitment process. Applications are open until the 23rd.

Heo Baek-young, CEO of Bithumb, stated, “The development of the blockchain industry directly expands job opportunities for the MZ generation,” adding, “Bithumb will continue to take the lead in creating jobs for youth through various campaigns and recruitment conversion programs to fulfill its social responsibility.”
