Millie's Library Unveils Original Content Lineup... Park Sang-young, Heo Gyu-hyung, Yoon Jin-seo

Reading platform Millie’s Library (CEO Seo Young-taek) has unveiled a lineup of Millie Original serialized content that is younger and more diverse, in collaboration with fencing gold medalist Park Sang-young, psychiatrist Heo Gyu-hyung, and actress Yoon Jin-seo. Millie’s Library enhances the joy of reading by presenting original content in serialized form, allowing readers to discover new reading material daily or weekly.

First, the essay “The Reason for the Gold Medalist’s Notes” by fencer Park Sang-young will be released every Thursday for three months starting from the 20th. Park Sang-young, who inspired many with his shout of “You can do it,” has attracted attention for meticulously keeping a training log during his intense training process. This essay, exclusively released through Millie’s Library, conveys the meaning and reason behind “recording” that he has learned through experience.

Starting from the 21st, psychiatrist Heo Gyu-hyung, host of the popular podcast “Brain Rich People,” will begin serializing “A New Mind and Perspective from Today.” For five months, every Friday, he will present psychiatric theories based on various cases and illustrative metaphors to aid understanding. The essay “Discovering Each Other,” co-written by actress Yoon Jin-seo and film director Jung Jae-eun, will also be serialized every Friday for three months starting from the 28th. The essay captures the process of filling the gap between them?spanning the distance between their residences in Jeju and Seoul?not with SNS or text messages, but with long letters, allowing them to discover themselves and each other more deeply.

New content that captivates enthusiasts is also prepared in the recently spotlighted SF genre. SF writer Moon Nok-ju’s short story collection “That Person Is Not Guilty” will be serialized eight times every Tuesday and Thursday starting from the 20th. This collection weaves the author’s unique world across SF and thriller genres. It features distinctive stories that transcend time and space, such as “Who Is the Most Pitiful,” which briskly deals with the stories of human figures participating in a large reality show, and the SF fantasy “Heir of the Forbidden Book,” which tells the story of people replacing books in a future where trees have gone extinct.

Kim Tae-hyung, head of content at Millie’s Library, said, “Millie’s Library’s original content presented in serialized form shows a high completion rate and receives great love from Millie members every time it is released. We plan to enrich the Millie Original lineup with a younger sensibility and a wider range of topics to broadly embrace the empathy and tastes of the 20s and 30s generation.”
