Mokpo National Maritime University Signs Agreement with Hyundai E&T Co., Ltd.

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Mokpo National Maritime University (President Han Won-hee) and Hyundai E&T Co., Ltd. (CEO Oh Se-kwang) signed an agreement on the 19th at 4 p.m. in the second-floor conference room of the university headquarters to promote win-win development in eco-friendly smart industry-academia cooperation.

According to Mokpo National Maritime University on the 20th, the agreement was made to establish a mutual cooperation system through technology sharing and joint use of educational resources between the two institutions.

Through this agreement, both institutions plan to strive for talent development by discovering joint projects for technology development, operating programs, and cooperating in recruitment for industry-academia tracks and advanced departments.

President Han Won-hee stated, “Taking this Hyundai E&T agreement as an opportunity, we will build an industry-academia collaboration network and do our best to nurture specialized talent as an educational institution for training next-generation eco-friendly smart ship personnel.”
