[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Tae-min] SK Ecoplant announced on the 20th that it will launch sales next month for the office complex 'Dongtan Lake One' located in Songdong, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do.
'Dongtan Lake One' consists of a total of 1,095 office units from basement level 1 to 15 floors above ground, with sizes ranging from 24 to 97㎡. The complex is primarily south-facing to maximize views of Dongtan Lake Park. It features bathrooms including showers, lofts for relaxation, and two-sided balconies (in some units). The upper floors from 11 to 15 have a specialized design with wide terraces.
The complex is located near Dongtan Lake Park, offering scenic views. Dongtan Lake Park spans 640,000㎡ of green parkland and 184,000㎡ of lake area, with walking trails. Inside, there are various waterfront spaces such as Changpoweon, Reed Marsh Garden, Embankment Street Garden, and Water Play Plaza.
The transportation network is excellent. The Dongtan Urban Railway (tram) Line 1 is planned nearby, and road networks including the Gyeongbu Expressway, Yongseo Expressway, and Dongtan-daero are well established, making vehicle travel convenient. Dongtan 2 New Town is also advancing the SRT Dongtan Station, the Dongtan?Indeokwon Line, and a metropolitan transfer center.
It is situated near the Hwaseong Semiconductor Cluster, Dongtan Technovalley, and six industrial complexes. In November last year, the global semiconductor extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography equipment company ASML from the Netherlands decided to invest approximately 240 billion KRW in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do to establish a semiconductor cluster, which is seen as further boosting the future growth potential of Dongtan 2 New Town.
The model house is located in Dongcheon-dong, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do.
