[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Dong-hoon] The hearing date for the injunction to prohibit the broadcast filed by Kim Geon-hee, spouse of People Power Party candidate Yoon Seok-yeol, against MBC, which intends to air the conversation between her and reporter A, will be held tomorrow (21st) at the Seoul Western District Court.

According to the legal community on the 20th, the Seoul Western District Court will hold a hearing at 11 a.m. on the 21st regarding the injunction application to prohibit the airing and distribution of the second broadcast of MBC's Straight filed by Kim's side.

Earlier, Kim's side applied for an injunction against the broadcast aired on the 16th and partially succeeded, and has now applied for an injunction against the broadcast scheduled for the 23rd. Kim is the creditor, and MBC is the debtor in the lawsuit.

The People Power Party's campaign headquarters stated, "We repeatedly requested MBC to inform us of the broadcast's outline and content and to guarantee the right to reply, but they did not disclose any outline, topic, or content." They added, "Asking for a rebuttal without knowing what will be broadcast is against common sense and violates journalistic ethics." They further noted, "We plan to focus on the fact that the right to reply was not guaranteed during the trial process."
