Prudential Life Expands VIP Comprehensive Financial Expert 'Star WM'

On the 19th, Prudential Life held the second launch ceremony for 'Star WM,' a comprehensive financial expert for asset owners, at Prudential Tower in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Prudential Life Insurance is expanding its comprehensive asset management services that provide financial services such as asset growth, inheritance, retirement, and old-age planning to high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients.

On the 19th, Prudential Life Insurance held the 2nd launch ceremony for 'Star WM,' a comprehensive financial expert for high-net-worth individuals, at Prudential Tower in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

The launch ceremony was attended by Min Ki-sik, CEO of Prudential Life Insurance, Choi Jae-young, Head of WM and Pension at KB Financial Group, Oh Byung-joo, Head of Insurance at KB Financial Group, Yoon Man-chul, Head of WM Sales at KB Securities, Geum Won-kyung, Head of Gangnam Regional Headquarters at KB Securities, and Son Nam-sook, Head of Gangnam Regional Sales Group at KB Kookmin Bank.

Prudential Life Insurance selected 108 Life Planners (LP) as the 2nd group of Star WM and plans to actively target the VIP market along with the first group of 136 members.

Star WM combines the expertise of Prudential Life Insurance and KB Financial Group in insurance, banking, and securities to provide various financial services to individual customers. For corporate clients, it offers group-level customized comprehensive asset management services aimed at business growth.

The first group of Star WM, selected last year, achieved over 700 new insurance contracts within six months and attracted customer assets worth 20 billion KRW to KB Financial Group affiliates, proving its status as a premium outbound organization and the potential of a collaborative model among affiliates.

A Prudential Life Insurance official stated, "With outstanding performance last year, Star WM was recognized as a successful model of a premium outbound organization. This year, we plan to expand our activities nationwide, establish asset management services as a core business model, and broaden the vision of LPs to become comprehensive financial experts."
