Hyundai Glovis is expanding and launching its used car brokerage platform business. Professional dealers who win vehicles at the Hyundai Glovis used car auction center can now sell directly to consumers through the newly introduced Autovel platform.

On the 20th, Hyundai Glovis announced the launch of the used car brokerage platform ‘Autovel.’ With the slogan “A used car platform created by experts who know cars,” the company aims to supply sales channels to used car dealers while providing consumers with a reliable purchasing service.

Users can access Autovel via the internet and a dedicated mobile application (app) to use key services such as buying my car, selling my car, and checking my car’s market price.

Hyundai Glovis plans to maintain strict operational methods for transparent transactions on the Autovel platform while providing customized services to registered used car dealers. To use the service, dealers (sellers) must submit their affiliated dealership’s business registration certificate and employee ID. Used car dealers can participate in auctions held at Hyundai Glovis’s Bundang, Siwha, and Yangsan auction centers and sell the vehicles they win immediately to consumers through the ‘Smart Auction Certified Vehicles’ menu on the Autovel platform. The company stated that consumers can purchase vehicles distributed transparently through certified auction members without worrying about fraudulent listings.

Hyundai Glovis verifies the actual availability and sales status of vehicles registered on the platform through data linkage with each used car auction center it operates. Dealers caught selling fraudulent listings will face regulations including permanent loss of membership. Autovel comprehensively analyzes used car auction data and the actual prices of vehicles traded on the platform to provide dealers and consumers with accurate real-time current market prices for all vehicle models.

Consumers wishing to purchase used cars can check 360-degree rotatable virtual reality (VR) photos showing the vehicle’s interior and exterior, as well as 112 diagnostic results conducted by professional appraisers, through the ‘Live Studio’ menu under the ‘Buy My Car’ section on Autovel. Additionally, an online home service is offered where the purchased vehicle is delivered to the buyer’s home, and they can test drive it for three days before finalizing the purchase. For consumers wanting to sell their cars through Autovel, three services are provided: professional appraiser visit sales, highest price sales through comparative estimates, and no-appraisal sales.
