[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] CJ Freshway announced on the 20th that it will join hands with the Bucheon City Social Welfare Meal Management Support Center to improve the nutrition of socially vulnerable groups using welfare facilities in the district.
Through this agreement, CJ Freshway plans to provide nutrition menu planning, hygiene and safety management consulting, and dietary habit education for meal services at small-scale social welfare facilities with fewer than 50 people, in collaboration with the Bucheon City Social Welfare Meal Management Support Center. The Social Welfare Meal Management Support Center is an institution specializing in supporting hygiene, nutrition, and safety management at meal services for social welfare facilities used by the elderly and disabled.
Following the agreement with Seo-gu, Incheon in October last year, CJ Freshway signed a business agreement with the Bucheon City Social Welfare Meal Management Support Center this year, taking the lead in improving meal culture within local social welfare facilities. Social welfare facilities with fewer than 50 people are not required to employ nutritionists, making it difficult for them to independently plan and provide menus. To address this 'nutrition blind spot,' CJ Freshway plans to actively support by sharing senior-customized menus and cooking methods from the care food brand 'Healthy Nuri,' which helps promote healthy eating habits among the elderly, in collaboration with the Bucheon City Social Welfare Meal Management Support Center.
