NH Investment & Securities Launches 8 Public ELS Products Including Those with Increased Early Redemption Potential

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] NH Investment & Securities announced on the 19th that it will募集 a total of 66.6 billion KRW limit for eight types of Equity-Linked Securities (ELS) until 4 PM on the 21st.

Among the募集 products, ELS 21505 is an early redemption pursuit type product, which can be redeemed early if the early redemption condition is 80% or higher after 6 months, so the possibility of early redemption is relatively high after 6 months from subscription. In addition, the principal loss condition is 45%, which is lower than other products, making it a favorable product.

This product is a 3-year maturity product based on the S&P 500 index, EuroStoxx 50 index, and KOSPI 200 index. On the early redemption evaluation dates, if the prices of all underlying assets are 80% or more compared to the initial reference price (at 6, 12, 18, 24, 30 months) or 75% or more (at 36 months), it pays an annual pre-tax return of 5.30%. Even if early redemption does not occur, if none of the underlying assets have fallen below 45% of the initial reference price until the maturity evaluation date, it pays an annual pre-tax return of 5.30%. However, if any of the underlying assets have fallen below 45% of the initial reference price and at maturity evaluation any of them are below 75%, principal loss of up to 100% may occur according to the maturity redemption conditions.

ELS 21507 is a product based on overseas stocks. It is a 3-year maturity product based on AMD (Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.) and Netflix Inc., listed on the US market. On the early redemption evaluation dates, if the prices of all underlying assets are 85% or more (at 6, 12 months), 80% or more (at 18, 24 months), or 75% or more (at 30, 36 months) compared to the initial reference price, it pays an annual pre-tax return of 16.00%. However, if any of the underlying assets have fallen below 45% of the initial reference price and at maturity evaluation any of them are below 75%, principal loss of up to 100% may occur according to the maturity redemption conditions. The minimum subscription amount per product is 1 million KRW.
