Kim Hyang-ran and Park Su-ja Receive 'Local Assembly Service Award' for Contributions to Community Development in Geochang County

Geochang County Council members Kim Hyang-ran and Park Su-ja received the 'Local Legislative Service Award'.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Kim Hyang-ran and Park Soo-ja, members of the Geochang County Council in Gyeongnam, received the Local Legislative Service Award presented by the Gyeongnam City and County Council Chairpersons Association.

The Local Legislative Service Award is given to council members who have contributed to the development of their region and the Gyeongnam City and County Council Chairpersons Association. Kim Hyang-ran and Park Soo-ja were selected as recipients in recognition of their active legislative activities and achievements.

The awardees, Kim Hyang-ran and Park Soo-ja, were praised by residents for actively resolving civil complaints by directly listening to on-site difficulties and communicating with local citizens.

Council member Kim Hyang-ran expressed her acceptance speech, saying, “I consider this award as representing the Geochang County Council, and I will approach my legislative activities with humility and work even harder.”

Council member Park Soo-ja also said, “I am pleased to have my legislative activities recognized. I understand this as a call to work harder and will carry out even more active legislative activities in the future.”

Chairman Kim Jong-du, on behalf of Kim Sam-su, chairman of the Gyeongnam City and County Council Chairpersons Association, said, “I am very pleased that the two council members have been rewarded for their legislative activities so far,” and encouraged the awardees by saying, “Please continue to carry out more active legislative activities for regional development.”
