Top-Level 'Inspire' Trim Added... Starting from 18.66 Million KRW
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Renault Samsung Motors announced on the 19th that it will begin pre-orders for the 2023 XM3, scheduled for release in March.
The 2023 XM3 adds the top-tier 'Inspire' trim, and convenience and safety features have been enhanced, including the standard application of soundproof windshield glass to reduce wind noise.
The Inspire trim, the highest trim level, comes standard with the leather seat package (ventilated seats and heated rear seats) and a black two-tone roof, along with strengthened exclusive interior and exterior design elements, based on the TCe 260 RE Signature trim.
The soundproof windshield glass, which is standard from the LE trim, inserts soundproofing material into the front windshield to reduce the transmission of high-frequency noise, thereby lowering interior noise. In particular, it reduces window noise entering from the front at high speeds, enhancing sound insulation.
The 'Assist Call' function, which helps customer convenience and safety, has also been added. In the event of an emergency such as a vehicle accident, a dedicated call center operating 24/7 supports emergency rescue reporting and accident handling. When airbags deploy during a vehicle accident, the vehicle automatically sends its location to the call center to assist with emergency rescue and accident management.
The expected price range for the 2023 XM3 is SE Basic 18,660,000~18,960,000 KRW, SE 18,760,000~19,060,000 KRW, LE Basic 20,470,000~20,770,000 KRW, LE 20,570,000~20,870,000 KRW, RE Basic 22,400,000~22,740,000 KRW, RE 22,630,000~22,930,000 KRW, and for TCe 260, RE 24,200,000~24,500,000 KRW, RE Signature 26,760,000~27,060,000 KRW, Inspire 28,330,000~28,630,000 KRW.
Kim Tae-jun, Head of Sales and Marketing at Renault Samsung, said, "The XM3 has led a new market that has never existed before with styling that perfectly combines the appeal of SUVs and sedans," adding, "To repay customers who have supported us in successfully leading domestic and international markets, we plan to continue our sales strategy by maintaining sustainable production competitiveness."
