Seven Eleven and Moving Sign Agreement on 'Electric Two-Wheeler Charging Infrastructure Development' On the afternoon of the 18th, Seven Eleven signed a business agreement with the two-wheeled vehicle sharing platform 'Moving' to establish electric two-wheeled vehicle charging infrastructure and cooperate on eco-friendly mobility.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Seven Eleven announced on the 19th that it has signed a business agreement with the two-wheeled vehicle sharing platform Moving to establish electric two-wheeled vehicle charging infrastructure and cooperate on eco-friendly mobility.

Through this agreement, they will promote ▲ the establishment of charging infrastructure for eco-friendly mobility ▲ provision of electric two-wheeled vehicle shared battery charging services ▲ marketing and win-win campaigns targeting riders.

Seven Eleven plans to first install electric two-wheeled vehicle shared battery charging systems (BSS) at major hub stores such as Gangnam and Seocho in April and then expand them sequentially. Consumers will be able to visit the nearest Seven Eleven to exchange or charge shared batteries when they need to charge while riding electric two-wheeled vehicles.

A Seven Eleven official said, “Convenience stores are presenting various lifestyle-oriented services as platforms in daily life,” and added, “As the delivery market rapidly grows, demand for eco-friendly mobility is also increasing, so we plan to expand related infrastructure so that electric two-wheeled vehicle batteries can be charged at nearby convenience stores.”
