Female Army Captain Found Dead at Home... Military Launches Investigation

According to the police on the 18th, Captain A was found dead at her residence in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, around 11:30 a.m. the previous day.

The police responded to a report from Captain A's friend who said, "Captain A is not responding." When the police arrived, Captain A was already deceased. A suicide note left by her was reportedly found at the scene.

The police are conducting a joint forensic investigation with the Ministry of National Defense investigation headquarters and have handed the case over to the military police.
