[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Yukil CNS announced on the 18th that it has completed the acquisition of CNA Co., Ltd., a precision chemical essential materials manufacturing company, by paying a total of 17.9 billion KRW, including the remaining payment of 16.1 billion KRW.
A representative of Yukil CNS stated, “To ensure the stable integration of the new business sector, we plan to maintain the existing CNA corporate management while gradually strengthening domestic and international marketing to increase the operating rate and improve performance.” He added, “With the completion of the acquisition, we will establish a foundation to demonstrate the overall business restructuring and performance of the company, and further enhance growth potential through additional acquisitions of companies with significant synergy effects.”
The acquired CNA is a company capable of producing over 2,000 tons annually of essential chemical materials such as UV absorbers, PVC composite stabilizers, and curing agents. As of 2020, it recorded sales and operating profit of 17 billion KRW and 1.3 billion KRW, respectively.
Meanwhile, Yukil CNS plans to focus on entering the global market by leveraging its overseas business sites in Vietnam, Hong Kong, and existing global customer partnerships.
