On the 18th, Seven Eleven introduced 'Oyeol Beer,' a distinctive craft beer featuring caricatures and autographs of singer Yoon Min-su on the packaging.
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Seven Eleven announced on the 18th that it has launched a differentiated craft beer called ‘Oyeol Beer,’ featuring caricatures and signatures of singer Yoon Min-soo on the packaging.
Oyeol Beer is a product that intuitively names the passionate singing style symbolizing Yoon Min-soo’s unique, poignant ballad emotion, adding visual fun. It is a golden ale type beer that harmonizes the clean malt flavor with a subtle herbal aroma, and also offers a moderately bitter malt scent, making it light and refreshing for everyday enjoyment.
This year, the popularity of craft beer in convenience stores continues. According to Seven Eleven, craft beer sales from the 1st to the 17th of this month increased by 81.5% compared to the same period last year.
A Seven Eleven official said, “Unlike regular beer, craft beer has the advantage of being more flexible and free in expressing brand individuality through collaborations, which is helping to expand its base. Oyeol Beer will provide great satisfaction by allowing consumers to fully enjoy not only the emotions of fun, empathy, and healing but also the authentic taste of golden ale beer.”
