The Visiting Health Bus support project is a visiting healthcare service targeting residents of remote or isolated villages. The health bus is equipped with medical equipment, and professional personnel provide medical services such as basic examinations, consultations, Korean traditional medicine treatment, and physical therapy. Hanul Headquarters supported about 400 million won for the purchase and remodeling of this large medical bus.
Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters stated, "We hope to help realize a healthy local community by resolving blind spots in medical welfare, and we will take the lead in establishing a welfare ecosystem that provides practical assistance to residents."
Uljin County Health Center said, "Although the proportion of elderly population is high, transportation is inconvenient, so support for accessible medical services is urgently needed," adding, "The medical bus will be a service that scratches where residents itch."
Since 2006, Hanul Headquarters has provided a total of 37 customized welfare vehicles to the local community. Hanul Headquarters plans to continue welfare projects reflecting the needs of local residents.
