[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 17th at 5:20 PM that it has issued Snow Removal Reinforcement Level 1 duty.

The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted that snow would fall in Seoul that afternoon, accumulating up to 0.3 cm before briefly stopping, then snow would fall again, accumulating up to about 1 cm.

The city deployed approximately 5,000 personnel, 1,000 snow removal vehicles, and 2,000 tons of snow removal materials, conducting snow removal operations on most main roads and arterial streets to ensure that traffic flow on major roads was not disrupted.
