Duzon Bizon Launches Workplace App 'Nahago'

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Duzon Bizon announced on the 17th that it has launched ‘Nahago (NAHAGO)’, a workplace app that provides work hours and payroll management services to help small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners easily comply with the mandatory issuance of pay (wage) statements required by the amended Labor Standards Act. In particular, NAHAGO will be supplied free of charge to alleviate the difficulties and burdens of companies.

The amended Labor Standards Act, which mandates the issuance of pay statements, came into effect on November 19 last year. According to the revised law, pay statements that employers must issue regardless of industry, size, or employment type must include detailed records of employees’ working hours. Specifically, it requires distinguishing total working days and hours, overtime, night, and holiday working hours, as well as listing payroll components, calculation methods, and deduction details. Additionally, essential information such as payment date, total salary, and employee’s date of birth must be included. All items, including various allowances and meal expenses, must be separately itemized with amounts specified.

Moreover, even if pay statements are issued, discrepancies or omissions in the content can result in fines of up to 5 million KRW, so companies must issue the revised pay statements without fail. However, it is not easy for companies to establish various management systems necessary for issuing pay statements, which is expected to increase their burden.

To resolve these difficulties, Duzon Bizon launched NAHAGO, a mobile app for office workers. It includes features to manage employees’ clock-in and clock-out times. Employees’ working hour records are automatically linked to payroll management software, enabling employers to easily and conveniently issue individual pay statements to their employees.

NAHAGO also provides various essential services for office workers’ company life. Users can freely use ▲self year-end tax settlement and submission of year-end tax documents ▲salary confirmation ▲annual and monthly leave management ▲certificate application ▲labor contracts ▲company-exclusive messenger, among others.

The NAHAGO app will be supplied starting today to small and medium-sized enterprises, including small business owners and self-employed individuals, who use Duzon Bizon’s cloud platform WEHAGO or tax accounting offices using WEHAGO T and those delegating related tasks to these offices using WEHAGO T edge.

For companies using WEHAGO, the payroll management service and the employee NAHAGO app are linked, allowing the entire process of preparing and issuing pay statements to be automated and optimized with a single click. Companies using T edge for client companies connected to tax accounting offices’ WEHAGO T can use the app by directly distributing NAHAGO to their employees. More detailed usage instructions can be found on Duzon Bizon’s website.

Song Hochul, head of Duzon Bizon’s Platform Business Division, said, “We plan to continuously upgrade NAHAGO so that many office workers can use it conveniently.” He added, “We will sequentially add other services needed by office workers, such as medical and financial services, and maximize corporate work efficiency through integration with the business platform WEHAGO.”
