Schr?der, who served as the 7th Federal Chancellor, is recognized for continuing the political legacy of former Chancellor Willy Brandt, including policies on East and West German integration during his tenure.

On this day, the two exchanged views on unification legislation and engaged in in-depth discussions on inter-Korean relations, nuclear phase-out, carbon neutrality, economic growth policies driven by small and medium-sized enterprises, and social integration policies.

In particular, Minister Park sought wisdom and advice from former Chancellor Schr?der regarding social integration and national development vision within the realm of the rule of law.
