[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Singer KCM (Kang Chang-mo) has announced his marriage.
On the 13th, his agency Image9comms stated, "KCM has met the person he will spend his life with and got married," adding, "His partner is an ordinary office worker nine years younger."
They continued, "The two recently held a simple ceremony with only family members from both sides present, blessed by everyone, and have already completed their marriage registration."
The KCM couple has established their home in Gimpo, Gyeonggi Province, and plans to move in during March.
The agency explained, "He decided to get married last year and had been preparing for the wedding, but due to COVID-19, the ceremony was inevitably postponed several times, delaying the announcement."
They added, "They plan to hold an official wedding ceremony in the future. Although it is difficult to set a date, they hope to have a wedding where they can receive congratulations from many people and personally express their gratitude to each one."
KCM shared the news of his marriage directly with fans by posting a handwritten letter on his fan cafe. He stated, "Last year, I promised to spend the rest of my life with a friend I want to be with forever."
He continued, "A few days ago, we held a simple ceremony with family members from both sides. Although I feel regret for not being able to hold a formal ceremony, I wanted to be the first to tell my fans," conveying the news of his marriage.
KCM debuted as a singer in 2004 and has been loved for songs such as "Black and White Photo," "To Eunyoung," "Smile Again," and "Scent of Love." Recently, he appeared on MBC variety show "Hangout with Yoo" as part of the project group MSG Wannabe, gaining attention. He is currently active in various entertainment programs.
