People Power Party Reveals 'Slim Election Headquarters' Organization Chart... Two-Headquarters System with Candidate-Direct Committees

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jun-yi] The People Power Party's election campaign headquarters, which was reorganized from a 'mammoth election countermeasure committee' to a 'slim election headquarters,' has unveiled the new headquarters' organizational chart.

On the 9th, the People Power Party's election headquarters announced the new structure, stating, "We have decided to dismantle the somewhat inefficiently operated 'large-scale election committee' and approach the public efficiently and swiftly with a 'slim election headquarters.'"

The headquarters reorganized six general divisions into two main divisions centered on the Election Countermeasures Headquarters and the Policy Headquarters to focus functions. Additionally, the schedule and messaging functions previously handled by the candidate's secretariat will be transferred to the election headquarters.

The situation room of the Election Countermeasures Headquarters is expected to oversee and coordinate all election-related affairs. Under the situation room, there are six divisions: the Organization Headquarters, Functional Headquarters, Public Relations Media Headquarters, Youth Headquarters, and Women's Headquarters.

The candidate's direct organization, the 'New Era Preparation Committee,' has been renamed the 'Regime Change Accompaniment Committee,' with the candidate directly serving as chairman. The 'Committee for Accompanying the Vulnerable' and the 'Youth Committee Thinking About Tomorrow' will also continue as candidate-affiliated organizations.

The election headquarters declared, "From now on, People Power Party presidential candidate Yoon Seok-yeol will enter the hearts of the people during the remaining election period and make every effort to gain the support and love of the public."
