[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Hyeyoung] Doosan Bobcat unveiled the world's first fully electric construction equipment, the 'T7X,' for the first time at CES 2022, the world's largest electronics and IT exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA, on the 4th (local time).
The T7X, which won two CES 2022 Innovation Awards, is the first equipment in the world to completely eliminate all hydraulic-related components. It delivers performance comparable to conventional internal combustion engine equipment without emitting harmful substances. Noise has been reduced to one-tenth of the previous level, vibrations minimized, and energy efficiency maximized.
Scott Park, CEO of Doosan Bobcat, said at the media day, "We are proud to showcase fully electrified technology that leads innovation," adding, "We will continue to develop solutions and products that maximize both sustainability and productivity for our customers."
Doosan Bobcat also signed a strategic partnership with Sunbelt, a major rental company in North America. Brandon Hogan, CEO of Sunbelt, announced plans to purchase large quantities of Doosan Bobcat's fully electric loader T7X and electric excavators.
