[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Trainee Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] On the 30th, Kim Chung-seok, chairman of Coex Co., Ltd., generously donated 100 million won to Dongmyung University for talent development funds.
Kim Chung-seok, who also serves as chairman of the Angel Peace Arts Group, served as the governor of Rotary International District 3661 Busan in 2017 and operates Coex Co., Ltd. as well as EEL Bio and Hangil affiliated companies.
Chairman Kim founded the Angel Peace Arts Group for youth in May 2016 to nurture artistic talents in Busan. The organization supports talent development projects in K-POP musicals, dance, Taekwondo, singing, and practical music.
He is also engaged in donation and volunteer activities such as the Love House Repair Project for 100 households in administrative blind spots among underprivileged groups, remodeling of the Busan Vocational Adaptation Training Center for the Disabled, support funds for children from marginalized groups by the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, and a $250,000 global fund for polio eradication.
President Jeon Ho-hwan said, “We will collaborate with Chairman Kim to nurture ‘Doing Talents’ who continuously practice passion, challenge, and service.”
