IBK Industrial Bank selects 8 companies for the 3rd batch of 'IBK First Lab'

[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-ho Kim] IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 28th that it has selected 8 companies to participate in the 3rd batch of 'IBK First Lab,' an open innovation test bed.

'IBK First Lab' is an experimental space where participating companies verify whether their innovative technologies and ideas can be integrated into the bank's products, services, and business processes.

The companies selected for the 3rd batch are ▲Daetgo ▲DoubleWAI ▲Romin ▲Antok ▲Oasis Business ▲Cogcom ▲TeddySome ▲HowToBeLab. IBK Industrial Bank plans to work with these 3rd batch companies to establish a digital customer experience management system based on artificial intelligence (AI) natural language processing technology.

Meanwhile, since its launch in September 2019, 'IBK First Lab' has tested a total of 26 innovative companies and 27 innovative business models. It has developed the ‘AI Real Estate Automatic Screening System’ (in collaboration with Tanker), which can complete real estate collateral loan screening within 3 minutes, and the ‘Digital Identity Verification Service’ (in collaboration with InfoSonic), designated as an ‘Innovative Financial Service’ by the Financial Services Commission.
