T'way Air Provides Winter Cold-Weather Gear to On-Site Maintenance Technicians

T'way Air Provides Winter Cold-Weather Gear to On-Site Maintenance Technicians A T'way Air maintenance technician is wearing a newly issued multi-purpose winter headscarf while performing aircraft maintenance and inspection tasks at the Gimpo Airport apron.

[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] T'way Air announced on the 27th that it has provided cold-weather gear for aircraft maintenance technicians to ensure safe flight operations during the winter season.

The cold-weather hood provided by T'way Air can be used as a winter hat, earmuffs, or neck warmer according to individual preference. The inside is lined with fleece for enhanced warmth and easy storage, which is expected to help during unavoidable outdoor work in winter.

Last summer, T'way Air also supplied safety-certified protective goggles to maintenance technicians who are directly exposed to ultraviolet rays, distributing them to all airport sites to prevent eye diseases caused by flying dust, UV rays, and visible light.

Jung Hong-geun, CEO of T'way Air, recently conducted a 'Joint Safety and Health Inspection' while visiting the site located at Gimpo Airport, emphasizing thorough efforts to create a workplace free of industrial accidents and ensure safe flight operations.

A T'way Air official said, "As the cold winter season begins, we hope that the on-site maintenance technicians can work a little warmer and safer," adding, "We will continue to provide various support for our employees who work hard behind the scenes for the safe travel of our customers."
