Kyungdong Pharmaceutical Donates 600 Million Won in Year-End Neighborly Aid Fund

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyung-su] Kyungdong Pharmaceutical announced on the 23rd that it will participate in the 'Hope 2022 Sharing Campaign' by donating 600 million KRW to the Community Chest of Korea, also known as Sarangui Yeolmae, to help neighbors in need as the year-end approaches.

Kyungdong Pharmaceutical generously donated 600 million KRW, including 300,000 masks, to support neighbors facing a difficult winter due to the impact of COVID-19.

A representative from Kyungdong Pharmaceutical said, "We hope that neighbors exhausted by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic can spend a warmer winter, even if just a little," and added, "We will continue to contribute to spreading a culture of sharing in the community through various social contribution activities."

In June, Kyungdong Pharmaceutical donated 600 million KRW to the Foundation Baboeui Nanum. In October, it participated in a donation collaboration to commemorate the debut anniversary of IU, the model for the over-the-counter medicine Geunaelen, continuing warm sharing activities for marginalized neighbors every year.

The donation ceremony for participation in Sarangui Yeolmae's 'Hope 2022 Sharing Campaign' is scheduled to be held simply on the morning of the 30th due to the COVID-19 situation.
