[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Lotte Hotel Vladivostok announced on the 23rd that it received the 'Best 5-Star Business Hotel in Primorsky Krai' award at the 'Primorsky Krai Tourism Industry Leader' ceremony hosted by the Primorsky Krai government, held on the 22nd (local time) at the Diamond Hall of Lotte Hotel Vladivostok in Russia.

Now in its 26th year, this awards ceremony selects leading hotels, travel agencies, public enterprises, and local governments that have contributed to the development of the Primorsky Krai tourism industry and attracting tourists each year. The selection is made through a review by a committee composed of Primorsky Krai government officials and tourism experts. Last year, the selection and ceremony were not held due to COVID-19.

This award marks the second time Lotte Hotel Vladivostok has been honored, following its selection as the 'Best Hotel in Primorsky Krai' in 2019. It received high evaluations in categories such as differentiated facilities, Korean-style service, and customer trust.

Meanwhile, Lotte Hotel operates hotels in four Russian regions including Vladivostok, Moscow, Saint Petersburg, and Samara. Lotte Hotel Saint Petersburg was selected as a 5-star hotel by the Forbes Travel Guide for two consecutive years. Lotte Hotel Samara, which is operated under consignment, has also received numerous tourism industry awards including the World Luxury Awards.
