Lee Jun-seok Points to Jang Je-won as 'Yun Hae-kwan'... Jang Je-won Says, "I Will Endure Again and Again"
[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] On the 23rd, Jang Je-won, a member of the People Power Party, stated that he would "not respond" to Lee Jun-seok's identification of him as a 'Yunhaekgwan' (a key insider of Yoon Seok-yeol's camp).
In a post on his Facebook on the same day, Jang said, "Now is the time to focus solely on regime change and candidate Yoon Seok-yeol."
He added, "Why wouldn't I have something to say about such insulting personal attacks? However, with about 70 days left until the presidential election, the party cannot show the public an image of being mired in a mudslinging fight. It only benefits the Democratic Party of Korea." He continued, "I will devote myself wholeheartedly to the tasks I must do," and added, "I will endure and endure again."
Earlier, Lee had identified Jang as a Yunhaekgwan. On KBS Radio's 'Choi Kyung-young's Strong Current Affairs' that day, Lee said, "Jang, who is known not to participate in the election countermeasures committee, is revealing things even I do not know," and claimed, "This means Jang either has very good intelligence or is declaring himself a key insider."
In an interview with Dong-A Ilbo the previous day, Lee also indirectly criticized Jang, who represents Sasang District in Busan, saying, "(Yunhaekgwan) must not leave Busan. If they leave Busan, the entire nation should report them." Regarding Yunhaekgwan, Lee pointed out, "It is more problematic because they are not listed in the election committee organization chart."
Meanwhile, Jang had served as the head of the comprehensive situation room for Yoon Seok-yeol's campaign but resigned from the position amid controversy over his son's drunk driving incident.
