[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Jin Air announced on the 23rd that it will hold an event until January 31 next year to commemorate the introduction of the B737-900 equipped with business class seats.
The newly introduced B737-900 aircraft has a total of 188 seats, including the 'Jini Biz' seats. This aircraft will be deployed on the Gimpo~Jeju and Gimpo~Busan routes starting from the 24th.
The Jini Biz seats are arranged in a '2-2' configuration centered around the aisle, with a total of 8 seats, and the seat pitch is wider than the economy class at 40 inches. Additionally, Jini Biz customers are provided with benefits such as a dedicated check-in counter, free checked baggage allowance of 30kg, and priority baggage handling service. The Jini Biz fare will be officially operated through the website, mobile web, and app starting from the 31st after a pre-promotion period.
As part of the pre-promotion, Jin Air is conducting an event where customers can receive Jini Biz advance seat selection service by paying an additional 10,000 KRW on top of the economy class fare. The event can be applied for through the website, mobile web, and app for B737-900 flights operating between the 24th and 30th. From the 31st to January 31, customers using KakaoPay will be offered an immediate discount of 25,000 KRW on Jini Biz fare payments on a first-come, first-served basis.
