According to the German statistical research institute Statista, internet users searched for Chairman Kim's name an average of 1.9 million times per month this year.

U.S. President Joe Biden ranked first with an average of 7 million searches per month. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson followed with 2 million searches.

Following General Secretary Kim, former German Chancellor Angela Merkel (1.4 million), Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi (1.2 million), and French President Emmanuel Macron (900,000) ranked fourth to sixth, respectively.

According to Google Trends analysis, the most searched keyword related to General Secretary Kim was weight loss. He attracted attention in June this year at a Workers' Party Political Bureau meeting by appearing noticeably slimmer than before.

In this regard, the National Intelligence Service stated at the October parliamentary audit that General Secretary Kim's weight is estimated to have decreased by about 20 kg from approximately 140 kg, and it appears that there are no significant health issues.
