Labor and Management Became Santas Together... Korea National Oil Corporation Holds Year-End Gifts and Social Contribution Activities Kim Dong-seop, President of the Korea National Oil Corporation (left in the photo), and Park Dong-seop, Chairman of the labor union, are making a Christmas tree to be delivered to local welfare facilities.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The president and the labor union chairman became Santa Claus that day. The labor and management, participating in social contribution activities, visited welfare facilities carrying generous gifts.

The management and labor union executives of Korea National Oil Corporation announced on the 20th that labor and management worked together for the local community suffering from COVID-19.

The labor and management of the Oil Corporation visited the Ulsan Disabled Welfare Center to volunteer. They also delivered gifts worth 26 million won and Onnuri gift certificates to eight local institutions using funds prepared by labor and management.

The eight institutions are Ulsan Disabled Comprehensive Welfare Center, Ulsan Dong-gu Disabled Welfare Center, Disabled Daycare Center affiliated with Ulsan Dong-gu Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, Peace Daycare Center, Beotimmok Disabled Daycare Center, Ulsan Developmental Disabilities Lifelong Education Center, Seorosa-rang Group Home, and Ulsan Migrant Support Center.

Among the support items, fuel vouchers were issued in collaboration with local budget gas stations. They will be provided as heating oil to help marginalized neighbors get through the winter.

President Kim Dong-seop, who decorated the tree himself, said, “I hope this social contribution activity held at the end of the year will be a small opportunity to spread a culture of sharing within the local community.”

President Kim said, “The labor and management of the Oil Corporation will continue to join forces to carry out various social contribution activities.”

Labor union chairman Park Dong-seop said, “As a labor union that coexists and grows with the local community, we will work harder to support marginalized neighbors in the region who are suffering due to COVID-19.”
