The headquarters explained, "Entries can be submitted in various categories such as remakes, cover songs with changed lyrics, and original compositions. Any genre is acceptable, from ballads to trot and children's songs, as long as the song carries the meaning of saving the broken economy and collapsed justice." They added, "We hope the people will create songs that they want to hear and can empathize with, and furthermore, election songs that will resonate from the campaign vehicles of Yoon Seok-yeol, the People Power Party candidate, with their own hands."

Earlier, Lee Jun-seok, the leader of the People Power Party and head of the Public Relations Media Headquarters, expressed on social media (SNS) on the 25th of last month his intention to decide on the election logo song through a contest. He said, "It is fine to remake or change the lyrics of a military song. Ultimately, the winning work will be selected reflecting the majority opinion of the people, and we will pay as much as we have paid to Yeouido professionals so far."
