Student Happiness with Mobile 'Ssaem'... Ulsan Office of Education Launches Student Welfare Mobile Site Ulsan Office of Education.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Trainee Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education will officially launch the ‘Ulsan Haengbok SSAM (Ulsan Student Happiness Keeper SSAM)’ mobile site on the 22nd, which provides customized student welfare information.

The mobile site is equipped with location-based map functionality and gathers and provides customized information for students not only from the Office of Education but also from various student and youth facilities in Ulsan.

The site offers detailed guidance on youth counseling, school violence counseling via KakaoTalk chat consultation, phone connection functions, and public institution welfare policies for students and youth at a glance.

Ulsan Haengbok SSAM represents a teacher who protects the happiness of students.

SSAM is an abbreviation of ‘Student Support & Assistance Map,’ meaning a map that supports and assists students.

The mobile site was developed with participation from a student participation group composed of local middle and high school students, who were involved from content planning to suggesting ideas for promotional videos and reviewing the official name.

The Ulsan Office of Education plans to distribute educational videos on the Ulsan Haengbok SSAM mobile site to teach students how to use the service in their daily lives.

Superintendent No Ok-hee said, “I hope Ulsan Haengbok SSAM will establish itself as a teacher-like presence that protects students’ happiness and take the lead in realizing Ulsan education that does not give up on a single child.”
