[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Kiturami Co., Ltd. announced the launch of the 'Kiturami Hot Water Heat Source System,' an integrated piping system that enhances the economic efficiency and convenience of existing district heating and central heating systems.

With the launch of the 'Kiturami Hot Water Heat Source System,' Kiturami has diversified its business portfolio beyond home boilers and secured a new revenue model.

Unlike development heating that uses home boilers, district heating and central heating supply hot water produced at local combined heat and power plants or central boiler rooms through heating pipes and hot water pipes connected to each household.

Existing district and central heating systems used a total of four pipes, including two heating pipes and two hot water pipes, but the Kiturami Hot Water Heat Source System is designed to handle heating and hot water with just two pipes, reducing initial installation costs and maintenance expenses.

In particular, the system is designed to use the heat source supplied to the home for heating and supply domestic hot water by applying a heat exchanger optimized for integrated piping, allowing 24/7 heating and hot water use 365 days a year regardless of seasons such as the rainy season or transitional periods.

By applying a fine adjustment motor to the heating and hot water flow control valves, precise control of heating and hot water flow is possible, and simple parts and structural design ensure high durability and reliability. It includes an anti-freezing function for safe use in winter and offers a wide lineup of sink-type and wall-mounted models to provide optimal solutions according to installation environments.

A Kiturami Boiler official stated, "This new product is an innovative heating system that drastically improves the drawbacks of existing district heating, such as complex piping design, heat loss during heat source transfer, and harmful bacteria growth due to hot water storage," adding, "It offers various advantages such as cost reduction and increased utilization of living space, and we expect demand to increase significantly, especially in the district heating and central heating markets."
